The Nepean Disability Expo is excited to be back for 2016. The purpose of the expo is to bring the community of Nepean, Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains, Western and broader Sydney together once again, following a successful year in 2014. This years’ expo will give people living with a disability and organisations the chance to get involved in an event that showcases a range of key services, support-based resources & unique products available in the disability sector.
The roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme is giving over 14,000 Nepean residents living with a disability greater control over their lives and the services they choose.
This makes this years’ Expo crucial to help you find out about:
- The latest disability products, services, technology, aids and equipment available
- Disability Service providers to build networks with
- Advocacy and support networks available
- Government services available for people with a disability, their families and carers
The Nepean Disability Expo prides itself on bringing together a variety of people, service providers, charities and businesses with the aim of enhancing the lives of people with a disability & everyone involved in their care and rehabilitation. This years Expo will be hosted at the Exhibition Marquee Penrith Panthers and spread out over two full days. The event will have something for everyone including plenty of kids entertainment, a café offering food and drink and a revamped main stage with entertaining performances & product demonstration’s.
